Life Seeds’ India Partners Plant Life and Joy During 2020 Challenging Times

The beginning of 2020 started off wonderfully with 2 pastor/leaders trainings in North India by Rev. Jayan and A.S.H.A. Ministry. These pastors bring seeds of life to unreached areas. They give health to families in breaking cycles of drug and alcohol addiction, domestic violence, illiteracy, and economic poverty. Your prayers and support helped fund 3 trainings and 26 pastors monthly last year.  As India locked down from the COVID -19 pandemic, trainings paused with travel restrictions. As India is opening up from the pandemic, 3 more Pastors and Leaders Trainings in North India were held this month of January 2021. Please pray for these pastors and their life giving ministries.

Pastor Prem and Zion Ministries gave much Pandemic Food Relief in Andhra Pradesh to the poor, widowed, and frontline workers from April through June. As the Coronavirus spread, Life Seeds expanded pastor support through Rev. Jayan and ASHA Ministry to Central and North India and four surrounding nations, giving COVID-19 Food Outreach and masks from April through December.

One pastor, of many who were so grateful for the food outreach, wrote Jayan,”Dear Sir praise the Lord, (On 9/10/2020) Today, by the grace of God, we distributed food among the very poor and helpless families. We thank God and glorifying Him for the vision God has given you to distribute food among the very poor and helpless people. May God bless you and your family and ministry abundantly”.

Life Seeds helped bring self sustaining businesses and skills education this year in North and Central India.

4 Sewing Classes, Medical Equipment for Health Education and Testing, a Grinding Mill, a Mobile Food Stand, and help for 3 Children’s Literacy Classes.

Throughout the month of December, pastors and believers told the Christmas Story of God’s love in songs, skits, and word and deed public outreach in homes and churches. They gave winter blankets to the widowed, hospitalized, and food and clothes during this colder season. A village church was planted and 2 building projects funded.

During 2020 lives were saved and transformed. Life Seeds and our India partners thank you for your prayers and compassionate support during this year of many challenges. Jayan just returned from North India where he was gladly received and gave 3 pastors/leaders trainings and ministered in several churches. Much fruit was born. Please pray for India’s pastors and leaders and those in surrounding countries. We praise God for the life you helped bring to so many struggling during these challenging days.
