Amidst Rising Persecution: Service, Training, and Sustainable Help Continues!
Jayan writes: Praise God we had a wonderful meeting on the border of Orissa. Many were blessed as we facilitated pastors doing a great service work there.
Thank you for your prayers for the training of pastors and leaders in Punjab:
Jayan writes: It was a great renewing of heart and inspiration to see the pastors and young leader’s commitment and joy to take God’s good news to the unreached in the midst of increased persecution.
Haryana Bible School training young emerging leaders from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh:
Jayan writes: The persecution and need is high in these states. Some of the students don’t even have parents for financial help, but have great compassion and committed hearts to reach their regional territories with God’s tangible love. Praise God for these young people. They ask for your prayers.
Pastors and leaders in Andhra Pradesh were challenged to leave differences:
Jayan writes: The training brought understanding for the pastors and leaders among the different churches to be united in oneness in Christ to fulfill their great commission. The training went well.
West Bengal Training went wonderfully as all were interested in learning and applying this new knowledge to their outreach. The people live in the hills so travel is difficult:
Jayan said: We struggled climbing the hills, but the pastors and leaders were so eager to learn the subjects to help their neighbors. Games were also played to teach the morals of a fruitful life. The trip took 48 hours on the train and 6 hours by bus. Thanking God for all who sacrifice to reach India!
Anusha, Jayan’s daughter, organized and budgeted a Spring YWAM week camp in Andhra Pradesh. We are so thankful how God is working through her and her family! The camp was such a positive transformation for all attendees:
Several mothers of the youth came to the graduation program and thanked the leaders for the positive responsible changes observed in their youth. A nearby village pastor of one of the youth saw such a dramatic change in his character that he invited Anusha to bring this youth program to their village.
