Loving Blessings and Easter Joy to You! Life Seeds Oregon Winter Update

Worldwide celebrations took place Holy Week remembering Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. Historical evidence worldwide continues to show  “perfect love casts out fear”. Following are Winter photos of courageous pastors and volunteers who love people and ministered tangible relief through dangerous economic, health, and persecuting circumstances. Please continue to pray for Jayan and Jyothi’s ASHA Ministries team of courageous leaders. They are so thankful to God for your prayers and support and are praying for you. God bless your Easter and Spring!

Prison Outreach to inmates in Both High and Lo Security Areas

Jayan invited to prison Christmas Celebration.

Jayan Speaks at Christmas Celebration in Prison

Jayan said it was wonderful to go into the prison and have Christmas with the inmates. Some shared how their lives had changed and were saved after coming to prison. Because of the Christians the officers said the whole jail was running peaceful without any riots. The prisoners were so happy they got the Chicken Biryani Life Seeds helped provide. Jayan spoke in both the high and low security prisons and was well received.

Jayan’s Local Christmas Outreach of Food, Clothes, Blankets and God’s Love

ASHA Ministry Christmas in Other India States and Nepal

“We praise God for your great heart to feed the hungry…the widowed, young people, disabled, pastors, and believers”, said Jayan. Food Outreach was sent to Odisha (Orissa), Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar.

Winter Self Sustaining Projects: A Sewing Class in Uttar Pradesh and one in Madya Pradesh were started. Funds were just sent for two projects, a Sewing Class and a Beauty Shop at the foothills of the Himalayas. Life Seeds helped a pastor’s wife in North India start one of our first self sustaining projects that Jayan recently viewed. She started with one hand made wooden spindle and weaving machine and made beautiful wool clothes. Now she has several wooden machines and teaches women to weave wool products for the market. We are so proud of how she’s helping other women learn this trade and self sustain while making wool blankets and clothes for their cold North India climate.

Jayan recently held three Pastors/Leaders Trainings in Punjab, Haryana, and the foothills of the Himalayas. He also spoke in Delhi and Jammu. We are grateful for Jayan’s willingness to travel these long trips to encourage and train pastors and leaders who mentor and equip their communities.
