Sowing Seeds of Life in Word and Deed

Sending Love and Thanksgiving this Easter from Life Seeds in India and Uganda

Training Pastor's Community Outreach
God bless and strengthen you dear friends as Worldwide we celebrated the risen Christ this Easter! As we step into Spring, Rev. Jayan, ASHA Ministries Overseer, said “I’m praising God for safe journeys, good health, and granting fruitful ministry this Winter”! Thank you for your prayers and support during these times of economic and pandemic challenges and persecution. We are grateful for the Sewing Classes helping women in crisis with means of income, discipleship, and real hope. Here are a few of the many pastor’s praise reports. We are educating, caring and sharing God’s love with 600+kids, reaching them through tuition help for education and small blessing kits of stationary, sanitary, snack, and play items. We started showing the Jesus Film to small groups in 10 locations so far. We are planning to distribute 300 nutrition kits to malnourished children in April. Our Acts House Church models are growing in 15 locations. Please continue to pray for safety, strength, resources, and wisdom for these hard working Pastors and Teachers planting seeds of life.

DCI UGANDA  WINTER UPDATE FROM DIRECTOR  JONATHAN BEGGS
Jabez, DCI’s Health Programs Manager (& resident eye doctor), leads the day and the rest of our team. No matter what their regular job with DCI is, they fill in the other roles to make it all work, even if we have to go late into the evening. Daniel Ongom, who is our executive assistant, did visual acuities at the wall chart. He noted those who insisted they didn’t need vision help were the ones helped most dramatically. Kenny, our administrator, said, “I am a lawyer, but my motivation for being part of DCI is to help disadvantaged communities in this way.” Both Daniel and Kenny were struck by the energy, love for learning, and love for their teacher Justine showed by the entire class of 36. Justine Nabutiti has a real vision of what her students can achieve and knows how to get them to work together.
We all are so thankful for what God has done through your prayers and support this Winter! May all you’ve been doing to help others in your communities be blessed with fruitful life ahead. Sincere Appreciation for Your Tangible Love!
The Parable of the Mustard Seed 30 Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? 31 It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; 32 but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.” Mark 4:30-32 NKJV
