Happy Thanksgiving with Gratefulness to God! Life Seeds India Fall Update!

 It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night… Psalm 1:1-5 

ASHA Ministry Fall Pastors/Leaders trainings. Persecution of Pastors and Christians in India continues. Please pray for their safety, discernment, growth in Christ, and courage.

Jayan writes of their Manipur fall visit: “We met 5 majorly affected victim families at CCPur in Manipur. These women have lost there husband’s and sons who were pastors, ambulance drivers etc. Every women has 4 to 7 children , all scattered to different places to be safe and get education. We heard their heart breaking testimonies, prayed for them, and helped with some money, rice bags, and groceries to show that we stand with them. Manipur is a 89 percent Christian state but not many are born again, and lack personal salvation. We visited a poor conditioned rehabilitation center which had 20 boys and 12 girls taken care of by a Christian Family. Many children from age 13 start taking drugs and are addicted by their 20s. Rehabilitation centers like this don’t get support from the government. We supported the leader with finances and provided healthy food to the youth. We visited 5 refugee camps in a village near CCPur. Each camp contains 30 to 150 families. We helped some sick and disabled people with finances and gave biscuits and health powder to all the kids at camp.  We met nearly 800 children that day. We also gave needed roofing supplies. Please pray for Manipur where killing and persecution continues. 60,000 displaced people, over 7,000 homes and 350 churches burned and untold numbers of people killed. Pray for India’s leaders to bring peace, reconciliation, and restoration to that area.”

Jayan met Evg. Rosy on his last trip North and suggested we help her purchase this food cart she was renting. We were happy to help her business self sustain as she shares God’s love in Word and Deed. Jayan said Pastor Abisekh is mentoring this young man to help him support himself and his parents. He is sewing beautiful bags and bible covers. They want to mentor more young people and help them self sustain with sewing machines. Thank you for your faithful prayers and support for Life Seeds and India’s Outreach. Per our Dec. giving, the 27 pastors will receive double salary for Christmas as we finish our 2 year commitment with them. We will be sending warm clothes this Christmas to cold persecuted areas of Manipur, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. Next year we will be expanding our support to 30 tribal pastors, some in new states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and help them with Bible Training needful for Tribal Pastors through William Carey College. We will also be connecting to the excellent Discipleship Training Program through YWAM. I will send further information in December. God is our Good Shepherd and so faithful! Praising God for each of you this Thanksgiving and those in India for all their hard work!
